Countdown on for Pittcon 2003


Orlando, FL March 7, 2003 Only two days are left until the opening of what is said to be the world’s largest exposition and technical conference on laboratory science, Pittcon 2003.

Taking place from March 9-14, 2003, at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida, the event includes 96 short courses, a technical program which brings together the very latest advances in laboratory science delivered by world-renowned experts representing more than 60 countries, and an exposition that highlights traditional, new, and innovative instruments and equipment. Around 20,000 laboratory professionals from industry, academia and governments from around the world are expected to attend this year.

Plenary speaker will be Dr Fred McLafferty, and a special presentation will be made by Dr John Fenn, 2002 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry.

This year the LIMS Institute is also presenting Laboratory Informatics 2003, a show-within-a-show at PITTCON.

The Pittsburgh Conference is a Pennsylvania not-for-profit educational corporation organized by the Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh (SSP)and the Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh (SACP).
