CIHR awards 1600 grants worth $354M: largest round ever

Vancouver, BC – Federal health minister Ujjal Dosanjh, accompanied by Dr Diane Finegood, scientific director of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Institute of Nutrition, Metabolism and Diabetes, on behalf of Dr Alan Bernstein, president of CIHR, announced today the recipients of over 1,600 health research grants worth more than $354 million.

This is the largest health research grant announcement made by CIHR to date.
