Ottawa, ON – The federal government has provided a $8.97 million repayable loan to assist a $33.5-million project being undertaken by Goodrich Aerospace Canada of Oakville.
This project will enhance the company’s existing aircraft actuator product line, which are used in landing gears, flight controls and other aircraft systems for precise and predictable motion control.
“Working with the government of Canada on this project will enable us to enhance our technological capabilities and expand our product base with more Canadian-value added,” says Gerald Conaboy, director of government relations for Goodrich. “This investment will support us as we work towards developing products for emerging technological platforms.”
The funding is being made through Technology Partnerships Canada.
