MedMira lands contract for one million rapid HIV tests

Halifax, NS – Diagnostics manufacturer MedMira says it has received a contract for one million rapid HIV tests from its partner in India, Venkateshwara Hatcheries.

Delivery of the tests will begin in the next several months and be completed in a series of shipments. The initial one million tests will be sold in India and future market expansion is planned for other countries in the region including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives and Myanmar.
