Innovators to get $2.6M boost in support services

Edmonton, AB – Entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized enterprises across Alberta will have greater access to technology commercialization and innovation support services as a result of $2.6 million in funding from the Alberta government.

The funding will support services including product development, applied research, intellectual property support, market research, prototyping, capitalization and manufacturing processes. It is being channelled through the Regional Innovation Support Initiative, which works with local industry leaders, post-secondary institutions and government to develop support services addressing business development needs.
