Bay-d’Urfé, QC – Funding of $3.8 million has been provided to pharmaceutical company Galderma by Quebec’s provincial government to help the company modernize and expand facilities at its production site in Baie d’Urfé.
Galderma develops and manufactures therapeutic solutions for patients in dermatology. The company has three global centres of research and development (France, USA and Japan) and three production centers (France, Brazil and Canada).
The entire project, estimated to be worth more than $38 million, will make the plant a global center of manufacturing and distributing for the product range Cetaphil (TM).
