App Circus comes to Medica 2012

Düsseldorf, Germany – An online competition for the best health related app has just been launched. In four monthly online competitions, developers can compete for eight presentation slots to pitch their app live on stage on the 16th of November at Medica 2012. The deadline for this first month’s competition is August 1, 2012. Participation to the online competition is free and the applications must serve a healthcare related need, from health to wellness and they may cater to any target including children, adults, as well as any professional (healthcare, technology, patients, institutions, etc.). Both simple applications and applications linked to external peripherals will be accepted. At the App Circus, innovative health apps will be presented by their creators with the goal of bringing developers, start-up companies and the organizations involved in the software development together with potential users and project partners from the medical sector and the purchasing side. Those wishing to participate are encouraged to visit the App Circus site and a reputable jury will evaluate the app submission and decide if it will be presenting at that event. The chosen apps will be presented at Medica 2012 (November 14 – 17, 2012 in Düsseldorf, Germany).
