Siemens Water Technologies purchased; renamed

Alpharetta, GA – Siemens Water Technologies has been sold to private equity firm AEA Investors for EUR 640 million and renamed Evoqua Water Technologies.

AEA says that Evoqua will continue to offer municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment equipment and services. The existing management under the leadership of CEO Dr. Lukas Loeffler will also remain.
