Image blur is a common problem when monitoring fast moving objects with a standard IR camera. When operating in snapshot mode, Flir Systems’ A3500sc/A6500sc thermal imaging cameras are able to register all pixels from a thermal event simultaneously, preventing image blur. They incorporate a cooled three to five micron MW-IR detector making them suitable for R&D applications requiring better image quality, more sensitivity and a higher frame rate routine.
