Fittings enable liner-less sealing at high-pressures

Victrex PEEK offers high-resistance to chemicals and a low co-efficient of friction. Valco Instruments’ Cheminert High-Pressure PEEK fittings allows for a direct connection to 360-µm OD fused silica, PEEK, stainless, or electroformed tubing without a liner. Because of the fitting’s compact size and fine 2-56 threads, a leak-free connection that seals at pressures exceeding 20,000 psi can easily be formed with the available manual tool. They are available with a PEEK or stainless steel nut, and a range of micron bore sizes are available. Suitable for applications requiring an inert, biocompatible, metal-free flow path.
