CHO cell culture medium is hydrolysate-free

The use of hydrolysates in cell culture feeds and media can introduce some process variability. EMD Millipore’s Cellvento CHO-200 chemically defined cell culture medium is a product of non-animal origin that delivers robust cell growth and consistent high-performance—and it doesn’t contain hydrolysates or components of unknown origin. Neither do Cellvento Feed products, which when used with the new medium, provide a system suitable for fed-batch processes using CHO-S cell types expressing monoclonal antibodies.
