Prisms manufactured to customer specifications

The angles between prism surfaces are dependent on the application. Optical Surfaces manufactures high-quality prisms to customer-supplied specifications in quantities ranging from prototypes, and batch runs through to production quantities. The company can produce all types and configurations of prism, including, but not limited to, amici/roof, bi-Fresnal and corner cube retroreflectors. They are available as single components—up to 45 0mm—or cemented units.  Routine achievements in production include angle accuracy of better than two arc seconds, surface accuracy of lambda/20 p-v, 10/5 surface quality and microroughness of less than 1.2 nm rms.
