Service provides dynamic blending of hazardous gases

Preparing mixtures of subliming solids is extremely difficult, and storing them stably is essentially impossible. Kin-Tek Laboratories dynamically blends trace concentration mixtures of phenol and other hazardous pollutants using Trace Source permeation tubes and the FlexStream computer-controlled perm tube system. Using permeation tubes to dispense the material gives a controlled flow of vapour, and dynamically blending the mixture eliminates to need for mixture storage are available for concentrations from less than 30 ppb for a disposable tube at 60°C to over 150 ppm from a high-rate tube operated at 120°C.
