Single-wash ELISAs can offer researchers time savings over standard multi-step kits. Abcam has launched a range of single-wash colorimetric sandwich ELISAs, dubbed SimpleStep, which retain the familiar process and data outputs of traditional kits but are easier to use. Reduced sample handling results in improved accuracy of results and no specialized training or instrumentation are required. A more efficient in-solution binding process provides better sensitivity and specificity. They are ideal for studying intra- or extra-cellular signaling pathways or for cancer biomarker research, and are available in off-the-shelf one, two or four target conformations.
