CMOS camera captures fast dynamic cellular events

To sufficiently document cellular mechanisms that occur on short time scales and which emit very low luminescence signals, the imaging device must provide adequate spatial and temporal resolution, as well as high sensitivity. The OptiMOS Scientific sCMOS Camera for fluorescence microscopy from QImaging captures fast cellular dynamic events across a larger field of view without compromising sensitivity. A suitable alternative to a CCD camera, the device has a faster speed to resolve faster cellular events, higher sensitivity to resolve low luminescence signals due to short exposures and higher resolution to resolve small cell structures.
