Rapid drying technology prevents cross-contamination, sample loss

When drying samples, cross contamination and sample loss due to solvent bumping can occur. Genevac’s Dri-Pure technology—available for all the company’s models of evaporators—solves both these problems. It allows for rapid sample drying by giving smooth, controlled solvent removal in optimum time. Its anti-bumping system carefully controls the reducing pressure in the evaporation chamber in combination with an increase in rotor speed to achieve greater g-force. Also, heat flow to the samples must be reduced during the pressure ramping state. The technology achieves this via the embedded instrument software and hardware. Genevac Ltd.
