Controlling the quality of colour reproduction can be challenging. BYK-Gardner’s BYK-mac i portable spectrophotometer calculates a new index know as the “Intensity Emission value,” which can be used as a preliminary light indicator for light fastness. Due to the highly stable LED illumination, fluorescent colour measurements can now be repeatable with one device and are reproducible from device to device. This allows usage of digital standards among the complete supply chain—the key to global colour QC management.
