Heating, chilling dry baths can be controlled remotely

Designed for use on robotic decks, the RHB20 heat-only dry baths and RIC20 chilling/heating dry baths control the temperature of samples in various containers from assay plates to centrifuge tubes from -20°C to 120°C. Now they are available with the EchoTherm MIC20 remote terminal, which can be used to configure and monitor the dry baths remotely without using an external computer.

The user simply connects the terminal to the dry bath to set and display temperature and timer, collect current set point or temperature, set or clear an idle mode, or calibrate the units using the included RS232 cable. The terminal can be disconnected from one unit and used to set another unit while the prior unit proceeds to do as it was instructed.

The terminal is compact and weighs less than 500 grams.  It has a backlit two-line alphanumeric display and keypad for setting and displaying all dry bath parameters. It is battery operated with a battery life of over 230 hours of continuous use.
