UV transilluminator is designed to be a super space-saver, making it convenient for today’s crowded research laboratories. It measures 29.2 x 35.6 x 5.7 cm, the size of the average laptop, yet has virtually all the features of larger, more expensive transilluminators, according to the manufacturer. It delivers a typical peak 312nm intensity of 9,000 W/cm2 at the filter surface, and is suitable for visualization and photodocumentation of mini gels. A diffusing screen ensures superior light distribution and eliminates confusing light striations caused by the contours of the tubes.
