Regina, SK – Saskatchewan’s provincial government is spending $15 million to renovate and expand the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) at the University of Saskatchewan.
“This is a complex multi-phase project, combining major renovations with the addition of new space and incorporating current knowledge and guidelines related to bio-security and safety,” says Dr Charles Rhodes, the college’s dean.
Projects include a two-storey addition to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, a consolidated research animal housing unit, additional research laboratories, and an upgraded diagnostic services area.
