Canadian Arthritis Network names board appointments

Toronto, ON October 9, 2003 The Canadian Arthritis Network today announced the appointments of Dr Robin Armstrong and Jeff Davis to its board of directors.

Dr Armstrong, currently a professor emeritus at the University of Toronto, has had a long and distinguished academic career. He is a past president of the University of New Brunswick, was a member of the Natural Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada and a founding director of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research.

Mr Davis is the general manager of P&G Pharmaceuticals Canada. He has worked for P&G for 17 years in its consumer and pharmaceutical businesses and brings the experience of working in North America and Europe. Mr Davis is involved in several areas to influence positive changes in the industry and community and is a member of the board of directors of Rx&D, Canada’s Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies.
