Ottawa, ON – $5 million is being provided to Carleton University by the Ontario government in order to upgrade its science research facilities.
The funds will be used to renovate the university’s 42-year-old chemistry building, modernize laboratories and bring equipment up to current safety standards. This renovated facility will also accommodate a new food science and nutrition program. Carleton is also receiving $7.3 million under campus renewal to improve energy efficiency and campus safety.
