Consummable contract signed by Maxxam and Fisher Scientific

Mississauga, ON – Analytical laboratory network Maxxam Analytics has formed a new partnership with Fisher Scientific Canada. The company awarded Fisher a multi-year national consumable contract commencing November 1, 2005, that it says provides great benefits to both companies.

“We consider our partnership with Fisher Scientific a significant win toward Maxxam’s goal of improved efficiency, cost management, and establishing long-term relationships in our industry directly related to creating shareholder value,” says Dean Taylor, Maxxam’s CFO.

Maxxam provides analytical testing and consultation expertise support to industries including environmental, petroleum/industrial, government and food processing.

Fisher Scientific, a global provider of instrumentation, equipment, supplies and services, has been active in both the Canadian laboratory and industrial health and safety markets since 1926.
