A2LA accreditation for Mettler Toledo

Columbus, OH April 24, 2003 Mettler Toledo says it has received Laboratory Business Unit accreditation by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA), in accordance with the International Standard (ISO) 17025. As an accredited Calibration Laboratory the company can now offer A2LA accredited calibration services for Mettler Toledo volumetric and coulometric titrators.

The A2LA recognition means the company has met prescribed criteria after on-site assessment of its quality management system, and is competent to carry out specific tasks in the field of calibration.

"By meeting all of the requirements of ISO 17025, in regard to quality management and technical competence, we have earned international recognition in both areas," says Hans Joerg Burkhard, Mettler Toledo’s calibration laboratory manager. "We can now offer the highest level in calibration to our accredited titration customers."
