Pittsburgh, PA – The Pittsburgh Conference has released a call for papers for the 58th annual Pittcon Conference and Expo. Pittcon 2007 will be held February 25 to March 2 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, IL.
The technical program will feature comprehensive coverage at the forefront of analytical chemistry and instrumental analysis. The organizing committee has selected 60 invited symposia, including 13 awards, featuring world leaders in their respective areas of expertise. The Pittcon website at www.pittcon.org provides a detailed listing of these symposia.
The program committee is soliciting abstracts of original, previously unpublished findings in all aspects of instrumental analysis including but not limited to chromatography, molecular and atomic spectroscopy, electrochemistry, mass spectrometry and lab-on-a-chip technology. It is also seeking abstracts addressing novel applications of measurement science in areas such as nanotechnology, biomedicine, neurochemistry, genomics, forensics, informatics and quality assurance as well as pharmaceutical, environmental, polymer and food science.
For full consideration, abstracts must be received by Tuesday, August 1, 2006. Abstracts can only be submitted electronically via the technical program link at the Pittcon website (see above).
