Toronto, ON – Objective Pathology Services, which develops digital pathology infrastructure and software solutions, has announced two new distribution agreements.
The company has formed a partnership with Microscopes International to introduce their new uSCOPE Digital Microscope, which it says is the world’s first low-cost wavelength limited digital microscope, to the Canadian market.
“With the introduction of low-cost fully-automated microscopes like the uScope, any bio-innovator can now create easy, effective solutions. The Digital microscope revolution starts when everyone can afford to own an automated digital microscope.” says Scott Byker, COO of Microscopes International.
And the company has been named by Mikroscan Technologies as the exclusive Canadian distributor for Mikroscan’s portfolio of integrated desktop microscopy and pathology communication tools. Systems include the Mikroscan D2 real-time telepathology and scanning system, the Mikroscan MC2 low-cost telepathology device, and the soon-to-be released Mikroscan L6 low-cost live and scanning system.
“We are very excited to enter the Canadian market and we could not think of a better partner than Objective Pathology,” said David Barach, Mikroscan president and CEO. “Canada represents important strategic presence for us and based on Objective Pathology’s demonstrated success and well-established network within the digital pathology market we are confident that together we can make an impact.”
