Medica announces dates of 2008 show

Dusseldorf, Germany – Medical technology trade show Medica will take place from November 19-22 at the Messe Dusseldorf fairgrounds in Dusseldorf, show organizers recently announced.

The 2007 show closed with what the organizers say were the best-ever results in the show’s 38-year history. More than 137,000 trade visitors, of whom 40% were international, came to see what 4,576 exhibitors presented on about 1.26 million sq ft in 20 fully booked exhibition halls. Attendees came from the medical trade and professions, industry, and hospitals as well as medical laboratories, from over 100 countries.

In 2007, a total of 40 Canadian exhibitors were present in most segments of the show, including the three buildings devoted to clinical diagnostics, with over 200 Canadian delegates visiting the show.
