A new series of -86ºC ultra-low freezers is designed for high-performance sample storage. The 17.1 cu ft and 23.5 cu ft models provide energy savings. Manufactured with foam-in-place insulation to maximize interior temperature uniformity, the units are suited for use in hospitals and laboratories for long-term preservation and storage of blood, specimens and components, as well as material testing. The manufacturer designs the compressors for high performance and reliability. Increased cooling capacity improves temperature recovery after door openings, while quieter operation is achieved through condenser fan blade design, noise abatement insulation and anti-vibration mounts.
