Antibody capture kit provides reagent flexibility

By using the same test reagents when setting compensation for multicolour flow cytometry experiments, researchers are provided with flexibility and faster results. Users of Beckman Coulter’s Versacomp Antibody Capture Bead kits can use their own test reagents, regardless of manufacturer. The kit includes two vials. One contains positive beads which captures conjugates in single-colour stains. The second contains negative beads, which provide particles with a measure of autofluorescence. Using positive and negative beads for each conjugate allows generation of a compensation matrix to correct for the spectral overlap of that conjugate into other channels. Beckman Coulter Inc.
