Polyurethane tubing is specially formulated to resist degradation from mildew, algae, fungi and biofilm. The tubing is non-leaching and is 100% treated without using expensive silver additives. The antimicrobial additive is fully compounded into the tubing to protect both the inner and outer surfaces, benefiting applications such as water systems, food and beverage or any applications where microbes can cause problems.
Antimicrobial tubing is designated as Series EA and is available in sizes 1/4″, 3/8” and 1/2″. It is BPA and phthalate free and complies with U.S. FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 and NSF 51 specifications.
