Automated evaporator dries, concentrates large volumes

Solvent bumping and foaming can result in sample loss when using large scale rotary evaporators. The fully automated Rocket 4D from Genevac dries or concentrates volumes of up to 100 litres and uses vacuum technology that suppresses bumping and foaming. Virtually no interaction is required — users simply need to load the sample, select a method and press start. The unit comes standard with a single, five-litre, 315 stainless steel vessel with a detachable handle. For larger volumes, users simply need to select the autofeed option, which allows the unit to draw-in product from an external supply. Genevac Ltd.
