New advances in laboratory automation technology continue to help improve workflow in clinical environments. Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics’ Versacell X3 Solution uses robotics and dynamic STAT management for chemistry and immunoassay analytics, and provides automated, one-touch sample management for low- and medium-volume labs. It enables labs to streamline a non-automated environment without the resource requirements of track-based automation. The solution will be available in CanadaJanuary 2014.
