Better imaging tools can help further streamline imaging research. In response to customer demand, Biotek has added more features to its Cytation 3 Cell Imaging Multi-Mode Reader. The device, which combines digital microscopy and conventional multi-mode detection in one instrument, now has 40x and 60x objectives as available options. These higher magnifications allow easy imaging of bacteria, yeast and other sub-cellular structures such as mitochondria. It is also now compatible with 35-mm, 60-mm and 100-mm Petri dishes, for expanded sample vessel convenience. Biotek Instruments Inc.
