Now Exeter Analytical has an entry-level manual version of its Model 440 Elemental Analyzer for quickly, easily and reliably determining percentage levels of carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen. It provides labs running smaller numbers of samples with an entry-point into high-performance CHN analysis. The manual Model 440 incorporates a horizontal furnace design that enables easy removal of sample residue between each material analysis. It also provides flexibility for labs determining low-level CHN samples to introduce higher sample weights and for those analyzing refractory materials to treat them with higher levels of additive to ensure complete combustion.
