The MetPak II Remote is a compact and lightweight multi-sensor instrument that measures a wide range of weather parameters, including: wind speed and direction; air temperature; relative humidity; barometric pressure and dew point. It has a remote wind sensor for measurement of wind up to 10 meters away from the MetPak II Hub. Its wind speed and direction sensor is suitable for mounting on a 10m mast, with the main hub fitted at a height of between 1.25m and 2m (10m cable supplied). This configuration meets the requirements of the World Meteorological Organization. The weather station can be supplied with digital SDI-12, RS232, RS485 and RS422 outputs. Low power consumption enables this weather station instrument to be used in remote locations where power is at a premium.
