Cost-effective microspectrometer delivers high-end results

Coupling a microscope to a spectrometer is not always optically efficient or easy to accomplish. Horiba Scientific’s cost-effective MicOS combines a microscope head directly coupled a three gratings spectrometer and a research-grade camera. Controlled by the firm’s LabSpec software, the device is compatible over a wide spectral range covering UV-visible and NIR—200 nm to 1,600 nm. The embedded digital imaging camera allows for direct viewing of the sample for accurate measurements, and any dispersive optics, such as a dichroic mirror, can be replaced to match the excitation wavelength. Suitable for photoluminescence, electroluminescence and photo-reflectance measurements at the microscopic level. Horiba Scientific
