Drugs of abuse and contaminants detected in real-time

Ionsense has unveiled the Dart-QS Source for rugged direct sample analysis using its direct analysis in real-time mass spectrometry technology, which can detect a range of materials from drugs of abuse to adulterated products in as few as 10 seconds per sample. Both qualitative and quantitative results can be obtained, providing rapid feedback and alleviating backlogs. The source uses QuickStrip Sample Cards for automated analysis of 12 samples. They are simple to use, ensure that no cross-contamination occurs and can be loaded automatically or manually, including standards for quantitation. The source can be mount4ed on all Thermo ion trap products including the ultra-high resolution Exactive+ mass spectrometer. Ionsense Inc.
