Providing a low cost, safe, small volume evaporator for synthetic and medicinal chemists, as well as pharmaceutical, biotech, and university researchers, the Centrifan PE Evaporator/Concentrator dries samples without the monitoring required by a rotorvap. It dries solvents directly in the vial, increasing evaporation efficiency in the laboratory. The system also processes fractions collected from flash liquid chromatography. Samples are dried in 20ml scintillation or other common vials and there is no need for a vacuum pump or a large supply of blow-down gas. This protects samples from loss and captures toxic vapors and materials in a closed system.
