The miVac DNA allows scientists to safely, swiftly and simply concentrate or dry samples in a compact, bench top unit. A single control knob control enables new users to obtain excellent results quickly. This unit is capable of removing low volumes of water and organic solvents from a variety of sample formats including tubes, microplates, vials and round bottom flasks. To facilitate full experimental flexibility it allows advanced users access to special operational modes to speed up concentration of water or water/alcohol mixtures. It offers digital control of concentrator temperature and short concentration times, reducing the risk of heat damage to the samples.
