The SteriMax smart infrared loop sterilizer provides high-speed annealing and sterilizing without flame. It is suitable for use in any type of lab, anaerobic work environment or laminar flow cabinet.
A specifically focused infrared light generates an IR-hot spot in which the inoculation loop is sterilized at temperatures from 750 to 1000°C after only 5 to 10 seconds. The sterilizer is instantly ready to work, and does not need any warm up. Touchless IR sensor technology provides auto-start.
Other features include adjustable sterilization and cool-down timers for two users by touch operation, an annealing tube made of special quartz glass, very simple cleaning of the device and the annealing tube, as well as efficient use of energy and minimum heat dissipation due to the use of Thermocontrol technology.
