LC/MS amino acid analysis system developed jointly with Ajinomoto provides simultaneous multi-component analysis. The UF-Amino Station can analyze 38 amino acids in nine minutes, drastically enhancing laboratory throughput. The system achieves high-speed analysis utilizing a fast application-specific column and an LCMS-2020 mass spectrometer. The LCMS-2020 provides accurate analytical results even under conditions with difficult samples that contain a wide range of impurities. The system also automates the derivatization reaction, which eliminates the need for cumbersome manual pretreatment procedures, increasing the efficiency and reliability of test results.
