Many labs and biobanks need space saving solutions for long-term storage of samples at low temperatures. To meet this need, Micronic has unveiled a new range of Low Profile Screw Caps that are compatible with their range of 96-well screw cap storage tubes in 0.50-, 0.75-, 1.10-, 1.40- and 2.00-ml sizes. Since the tube height matches that of the TPE cap, the same low-profile rack cover can be used for both types of caps, increasing operational flexibility for organizations using both types of storage tube closures.
