Having the ability to swap-out part components can reduce maintenance costs and downtime. That’s the concept behind Nordson’s Pico Xmod Valve system. The piezo actuator, valve seat, fluid body, cartridge ball/stem assembly and heater set are fully exchangeable and easy to disassemble. It provides continuous operation at speeds of up to 500 cycles/second and can produce deposits as small as 2 nl. The non-contact jet valve allows fluid to be applied in hard-to-access areas or onto even or delicate substrates.
