Module humidifies trace gas mixtures

The technique used to add moisture to trace concentration mixtures is critical. Kin-Tek’s Humidification Module for its Flexstream system adds variable levels of moisture—typically between 20 and 90 per cent RH—to trace gas mixtures. The system’s permeation tubes create the trace concentration gas mixtures by mixing the output from the tube with a clean dilution gas. Humidity is added by splitting the dilution flow into two parts. One part remains dry and the other part is saturated with water.
