Besides being upgraded to 64-bit compatibility the Maestro Multichannel Analyzer (MCA) application software this update also includes several enhancements, like the ‘List Mode’ operation which is an advanced time stamped-event data acquisition process and several other improvements. Now fully validated as 64-bit Windows 7 compatible, when used in conjunction with a personal computer and appropriate MCB hardware, this system constitutes an advanced “smart” multichannel analysis environment for use in a wide variety of scientific applications in industry, teaching, and research, including nuclear counting laboratories.
