OAPS available with lambda/20 surface accuracy

Unlike standard parabolic mirrors, off-axis parabloids (OAPs) direct and focus incident collimated light at a specific angle, allowing unrestricted access to the focal point as well as reducing the size and minimizing the weight of an optical design. Optical Surfaces produces standard OAPs from 60 mm to 600 mm in diameter with surface accuracy to lambda/20 depending upon off-axis angles. And depending on the surface accuracy required, a natural limit to the off-axis angle of around 25° to 30° and surface micro-roughness of less than 1 nm, can be achieved.
