Fluid viscosity, density and temperature can affect flowmeter performance. However, high-precision Oval Gear (OG) flowmeters from Titan Enterprises are nearly immune to these effects. They are designed so that fluid does not actually pass through the gear teeth and magnets embedded in the rotors provide a pulse output that represents a precise increment of liquid volume passing through the meter. They are available in sizes from ¼-in. to 2-in.,for flows between 1 ml/min and 500 ml/min.
