The manufacturer has added a phenyl-hexyl phase to its core-shell HPLC/UHPLC column family. The new column offers special selectivity for the separation of compounds that are difficult to resolve using traditional phenyl phases. The columns complement the existing phases in the line and are especially effective for resolving aromatic hydrocarbons such as tricyclic antidepressants and explosives. Suitable for a wide range of applications, including the resolution of moderate hydrophobic compounds. Available in 2.6- and 1.7-micron particle sizes.
