Requires only a quarter of a turn to have certified aerosol-tight containment, the QuickLock lid system provides easy access and safe centrifugation of precious samples. An audible click signal indicates that the lid is securely fastened. Rotors 18×1.5mL for microcentrifuge 5418 R and 6x50mL rotor for multipurpose centrifuges 5804 R and the 5810 R now have this lid locking mechanism to makes every day routines faster, easier and more enjoyable. The low rotor weight of the fixed angle rotors has been achieved by routing out all metal that is not needed for safety or performance. This allows for easy loading and unloading of the rotor and requires less power consumption during centrifugation.
