The second generation of Sartorius Stedium Biotech’s single-use stirred tank bioreactor, the UniVessel SU, can be operated in working volumes from 0.6 L to 2L and is suitable for mammalian cell cultivation. It is pre-assembled and pre-sterilized, and is thus instantly ready to use. Labour-intensive steps like autoclaving or probe installation are eliminated, minimizing the preparation time.
